Jay Liebowitz has spent over three decades as a serial entrepreneur in optics and photonics. He excels in identifying unserved market opportunities and commercializing innovative technologies. He is also highly respected for his ability to be a bridge between scientists and engineers on one side and customers, investors, and business executives on the other. He has extensive experience in fund raising, M&A, IP licensing, and technology transfer and development.
Jay is the CEO and co-founder of Norcon Technologies, a startup that is commercializing advanced optical materials for 3D depth sensing and machine vision applications. Previously, Jay was an investor and head of business development of Princeton Lightwave, which was acquired by an AI company for its driverless car LiDAR technology. He has held numerous C-level roles in corporate strategy, business development, and engineering management.
